Alabama rig

Lake Fork, Texas, yields some 25 pounds of bass on two casts to one angler using the famous Alabama rig.

Justin Rackley, a.k.a. YouTuber LakeForkGuy, has filmed an amazing feat: in just two casts of his Alabama rig, he landed four bass, weighing in at around 25 pounds total!

Remember, when you see the first two hogs he pulls out, not only was that his first cast, but they’re hooked on the same lure at the same time. Think that’s impressive? When you see the second cast, he does the same exact thing, and the two fish are bigger!

I’m willing to bet that a whole lot of us have caught two bass on the same lure in one cast. I’m even willing to bet many of us have done it many times. The difference here is that these largemouths are in the six to seven-pound rangeone a whopping nine pounds, twelve ounces!

Congratulations to Mr. Rackley for this crazy feat. Thanks for sharing, and keep on casting, sir!
