You hooked a nice smallmouth bass, mister. Too bad a monster muskie just grabbed it!
Smallmouth bass provide some of the best fishing, fighting, and fun of any game fish.
These anglers just snagged a good-looking smallmouth bass, and then a fish-eating machine from the Esox family showed up.
The muskellunge is the bigger, badder cousin of the northern pike, which is a fish-mangling predator in its own right. This beast of a muskie just swam right up and inhaled their catch!
Never doubt what a monster muskie can and will do to eat. These tough guys with the toothy grin are the freshwater version of “Jaws” and would very much like to gobble up your boat.
This video is a great account of the incidental catches you can stumble upon when fishing muskie lakes and rivers!
OK, so these guys blab way too much before actually showing us their catch, but you can just skip ahead and get to the important part of the story.
Amazing! Now somebody buy the other guy some sunscreen.
