A hunter armed with a suppressed rifle and a night vision scope can do some serious hog management in a place like Texas, where there are a bunch of hogs.
Keith Warren is a big fan of hunting hogs, especially at night and/or with suppressors. In this video, he puts them both together on a hog management hunt down in South Texas by using a suppressed Savage rifle chambered in .308 Winchester and an Armasight Night Vision clip on scope. He was using sub-sonic ammo, so, even though it wasn’t silent, those shots were just about as quiet as you’re going to get.

Those hogs never knew what hit them!
Texas’ hog problem is well documented. While there is no easy solution to the problem, a couple more guys like Keith doing some serious hog management day and night would probably put a serious dent in the hog population.
Keep up the good work, Keith!
