The Red, White, and Blue Balloon Rally at Letchworth State Park in New York offered some amazing views for those fortunate enough to participate.

Letchworth State Park, New York is known as “The Grand Canyon of the East” for a reason. Spectacular vistas and incredible scenery aside, if you are lucky enough to board a balloon and view it all from above you can officially scratch one thing off of your bucket list!

The Red, White, and Blue Balloon Rally is listed as an annual event in western NY and is one of the most exciting ballooning events you can find.

Although this year’s rally has come and gone a visit to this spectacular state park is one of the most fancied trips in the northeast, especially in the fall. Letchworth State Park encompasses some 14,350 acres along the Genesee River in the western part of New York State.

The park has three incredible waterfalls, one of which is an amazing 107 feet high. Visitors can hike, camp, have a terrific dinner at the Glen Iris Inn, and in the fall parts of this great park are open to whitetail deer hunting!
