Video: 59 Inches of Sturgeon Out of a Hole!

sturgeon

A nearly 5-foot-long sturgeon was caught through the ice, and quickly released.

You don’t often see an ice fisherman using gear that looks like it should be cast off the shore of the nearest beach, but when you see what he pulls out of the ice, you’ll begin to understand.

This short video will keep you smiling all day:

59 inches and change! Just under 5 feet long!

Congrats to these folks for handling that fish quickly before getting it back into the water!

It almost looked like they were fishing in a farm pond, but it was probably just a frozen-over river.

Great work, and keep those great videos coming!
