Maybe you should reevaluate your decision about feeding a large crocodile, huh?
This guy calls in a crocodile for feeding by slapping dead fish on the surface of the water.
He then has to back up, in shin-deep mud, to entice the reptile into eating the fish. He is literally face to face with a huge crocodile.
I’ve seen people hand feed crocodiles before, and I’ve seen people get this close, too. However, I’ve never seen someone so vulnerable to a possible violent attack from one of these predators. He definitely keeps his cool.
There’s no information on the guy’s YouTube page, and the only line of text indicates the crocodile is the man’s pet. This doesn’t seem likely.
It seems like the crocodile is far from any type of enclosure. While it’s certainly possible this individual may have dealt with this particular carnivore before, I don’t think he would call it his pet.
It appears to be a large, wild crocodile, and it could have torn this guy to shreds if he fell or stumbled in the mud. It also looked like the reptile focused on the man for a while. It’s probably why the guy kept slapping the mud with the bait.
I don’t think I’d make a habit of pulling that stunt in those conditions.
