We anglers like to start hitting the rivers hard once spring comes so it is a good idea to review these wading safety tips to keep out of danger when fly fishing.

Some sound tips to ensure you don't get into a bad situation in fast water. I think the biggest one is to listen to what your "spidey senses" are telling you. As I get older, and hopefully wiser, I often when wading out in faster water start to realize I may be getting into potentially dangerous waters and conditions; so instead of taking an extra risk I simply return to shore and look for more easy wading. If I can't find a more accessible ways to cross I just accept it as no one's life is worth another hook up.
