A Virginia black bear found roaming the streets of Richmond was recently released back into the wilderness.

This black bear was spotted in the streets of Richmond, and the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries quickly responded and secured the bear.

Check out the video of the bear’s release back to his woodland home.

Whenever a wayward animal is successfully trapped and relocated back into the wilderness, it is a good ending to the story.

It was kind of the wildlife officers to warn the bear of the loose gravel in the area before they released him. The Virginia black bear takes off down the road, looks back once, and runs off into the underbrush.

We wish the bear good luck on its next journey.
