Dubbed the “King of Baits,” Crème has had a strong presence in the bait market since the late 1940s. Their fame came from the Crème Wiggle Worm, which sold 9,600 units to anglers after making an appearance at the Cleveland Sportsman’s Show in 1951.

Originally produced in Arkon, Ohio, the Crème Wiggle Worm was made by Nick and Cosma Creme. Using a combination of vinyl, pigments, and oils, the two created a bait that felt and looked alive.

Shrimp Tease, Mad Dad, Devil’s Tongue, and Lit’l Fishie are some of the baits made today by Creme.
