Here's what the finalists of the Snake Grabbin Rodeo get to do for the trophy.
When the Snake Grabbin Rodeo is on in Lake Washington, Mississippi, guys and gals alike will start grabbing snakes using only their bare hands.
Since this is a rite of passage for Mississippi snake grabbers, it stands to reason that other folks standing by will mark the ceremony by any and all means possible.
In this case, the use of a drone resulted in footage of the boys dropping a barrel full of snakes onto the awaiting participants.
These snake-hunting enthusiasts are part of the annual snake-grabbing rodeo that captures snakes on the deltas and rivers with prizes for the most and biggest snakes.
As you can see from the video, most of the harmless snakes swim free until the next annual snake rodeo.
