Video: Wait, There are Largemouth Bass in China?

YouTuber apbassing went on an impromptu fishing trip in China and found a very familiar fish.

Largemouth bass are extremely hardy, as they're able survive in a wide variety of places. Most anglers already know there's a healthy population in Japan, although they are considered an invasive species there. Still, the world record was tied there not long ago.

But did you know they're also in China? YouTube fishing personality apbassing was there on business when he went on an unexpected fishing trip, but caught a fish very familiar to him. We also get a quick look at a Chinese tackle shop in his latest video.

Obviously, he wasn't expecting to fish on this trip, so he wasn't totally prepared to go on an impromptu bass fishing expedition. The fish he caught weren't large by any means, but it isn't always about the size of the fish when fishing.

In this case, it was the simple novelty of being so far from home while still being able to catch a fish so familiar. So there you have it, even in a place as far away as China, you can still go bass fishing!
