Utah DNR Offers Potential Reward for Information in Moose Poaching Case

Help Utah authorities find who poached this moose.

The Utah Department of Natural Resources needs your help. A reward may be offered for information on a dead bull moose found October 10 in Farmington Canyon.

Wildlife officials were first alerted to the possible poaching by a tip from a citizen. The bull was later found up Arthur’s Fork.

Upon closer examination, it was determined the bull had been shot by an unspecified type of firearm.

The bull was partially in the road at the time it was found. The time of death is uncertain and Utah DNR residents have no suspects at this time.
