Unsuspecting Porcupine Becomes Meal for Snapping Turtle [VIDEO]

This Wisconsin kayaker captured an intense nature moment as an unsuspecting porcupine becomes a meal for a snapping turtle. 

It’s no question snapping turtle are tough creatures, but who knew they would take down a porcupine?

Some kayakers were filming and photographing a porcupine in Flambeau Flowage in northern Wisconsin, when a snapping turtle comes in for a meal.

Watch this snapping turtle eat a porcupine.

The snapping turtle received many quills in its neck and legs as it dragged the porcupine under water.

Snapping turtles are certainly the rulers of the ponds and rivers. They can live up to 150 years old, but typically live between 20 and 50 years.
