This has to be one of the last things you would expect when scouting new property for turkeys.
Turkey season is fast approaching and many hunters are out scouting new property every weekend in hopes of bagging their springtime bird. Most turkey scouting trips involve a lot of walking, listening, looking for signs, and just getting a feel for the property. However, this scouting trip didn’t turn out like it should have.
As you are about to see, Robert Aiken was out scouting new property that he just received permission to turkey hunt, when something unexpected happen. You see, Aiken was attacked by a wild turkey.
Now that is pretty incredible footage! I think Aiken has found himself a good property to hunt. Unfortunately, as most turkey hunters know, those stupid birds are everywhere up until the morning of the hunt, then just like a ghost, they vanish.
Good luck, Robert. Even though that spot looks promising, you are still going to need to have the card fall in your favor.
