Everyone has their preference for what turkey call they choose to use. Whether it’s because that particular call feels most natural to you, or it sounds more natural to you, or if it’s just easier for you to use, we all have our favorites.

Even if you don’t like using some of these calls, you may find that after seeing this video, they are worth a try. Plus, there’s still time to practice between now and the next turkey season.
Personally, I like using diaphragm (mouth) calls because I can keep my hands free, rather than using a slate call which requires using two hands. Regardless of your preference, the most important thing is choosing the call that you are most comfortable with.
