Want proof that fish are picky eaters? This tuna eats a seagull, then spits it out.
In a recent video circulating social media, several onlookers are watching a large tuna cruise the area near some docks where tourists are attempting to feed it sardines.
As the tuna circles back to grab a sardine thrown from the dock, a seagull swoops down and tries to intercept the meal from the large fish, and almost becomes a meal himself.
The tuna takes down the seagull and the sardine it rode in on in this short clip, but the tuna is a picky eater and only wants the sardine.
After swimming around for a bit, the tuna decides to spit out the seagull like the shell on a sunflower seed, and it floats to the surface, flapping it’s wings for dear life, grateful for a second chance at being alive.
The onlookers that were feeding sardines to the tuna laugh at the narrow escape by the bird, and everyone leaves the scene happy… except for the sardine.
