It’s not uncommon for trout to be stocked in lakes across the region, but this stock will be quite large. It’s estimated that some 340,000 trout are scheduled to be stocked in western Washington lakes this fall.
Most of the trout will be approximately 11 to 13 inches long, with a few large ones in the mix, according to Chris Donley from the WDFW.
If you’re in need of a license, you can purchase one online at WDFW or by calling 1-866-246-9453. You can also find license vendors throughout the state.
