You never know what a trail camera will capture!
A game trail camera set up in the Santa Susana Mountains in Southern California caught a mountain lion and later a mama bear and her cub feeding on a dead deer.
These photos show how everyone in the woods can share. It’s the circle of life!
This mountain lion is called P-35 and it is being tracked as part of a larger mountain lion study taking place in the Santa Monica Hills.
After the mountain lion had its fill of the deer carcass, a mother bear and her cub have a turn.
The game cameras are set up a deer kill cache to monitor wild animals coming through this area.
It just goes to show, nothing goes to waste in the wild. We should take notes!
