Check out a young man that has the tools and the talent to handle a snakehead all by himself.
This youth fisherman knows his way around a topwater bait as you’ll soon see.
As soon as you watch him make that first cast you will realize that it’s not his first rodeo; this young man has done this before!
Pull up a seat and see why kids and fishing go together like fried and chicken.
That kid pulls the trigger on a nice baitcasting system like a pro! Watching him pop that topwater frog through the muck just gives you a warm feeling right in your reeling hand.
He even went on to net it himself, retract the handle on the net and muscle that snakehead right up for the photo op!
It was great to see the release as well; another conservation minded outdoorsmen is born! Well done to this young man and best wishes for continued success in the future!
One footnote: without knowing exactly where this is, I’m still willing to bet that snakeheads are native to the area we see on this video and not the invasive species they are known to be in the U.S.
