1. Lake Talquin
This one is near Tallahassee. You will find bass close to 18 inches.
2. Lake George
The second largest lake in Central Florida. Bring along your top water lures and plastic worms.
3. Lake Harris
Near the westside of Orlando, Lake Harris is well known for its Bass Tournament.
4. Crescent Lake
In Northeastern Florida. If you like large mouth bass, crappie and catfish you should go home very happy.
5. Lake Istokpoga
In Highlands County, it has shallow water and 27,000 acres. Lake Istokpoga is especially good for bass in cool months.
6. Lake Tarpon
Located north of St. Petersburg. Plastic worms and crank baits are useful.
7. Lake Tohopekaliga
Located near Kissimmee, you will find largemouth bass plentiful. Lake Tohopekaliga had perhaps its best tournament in 2006 with the Bassmaster classic.
8. Lake Okeechobee
Near Clewiston, there are plenty of organized tours and activities for the whole family.
9. Florida Keys
The Keys are home to some of the best big game fishing spots, some would say in the world.
10. Fort Lauderdale
The world famous Bahia Mar, with many tours to choose from, and the New River make Fort Lauderdale a popular fishing destination.
