Toddler Gets Minion Fart Gun Taken by Ireland’s Airport Security [PICS]

Last week a mother and her toddler were passing through airport security in Dublin, Ireland when they were stopped due to the child’s fart gun.

Airport security is  apparently a little too aggressive everywhere in the world, not just the U.S.

Daire Fitzpatrick and her son Leo were returning to Ireland from a trip to the U.K. when airport security called them aside and confiscated Leo’s toy gun, a fart gun that the Minions wield in the popular animated film “Despicable Me.”

Here is a tweet by a friend traveling with Fitzpatrick that has been getting a lot of attention.

The fart gun is a like a megaphone that lights up and makes fart noises when the trigger is pushed.

Apparently the trigger mechanism is enough for confiscation as it is against Dublin Airport policy.

Fitzpatrick posted this on her Facebook:

Dublin Airport responded that she should contact the DAA upon her return from Ireland to potentially get the fart gun returned to its rightful owner. #devastatedtoddler.
