Tigerfish can weigh up to 30 pounds and have a mouth full of inch-long, razor-sharp teeth.
This species of fish is found in the Zambezi River system and are known to hunt in packs, eat large animals, and occasionally, attack humans.
The fishermen use fly rods and spinning gear to catch these beasts, and they can’t keep the tigerfish off of their hooks. Between the spectacular scenery and the fishing action, I can see why a trip to the Zambezi is so highly regarded.
Bring your sunscreen, some steel leaders, and your Kevlar underwear.
You might also need a longer hook-removing tool to get around those vampire fangs!
