This Belgian Pinfire Revolving Rifle is Something Else, That’s for Sure

This 15mm Belgian Pinfire Revolving Rifle is quite an interesting weapon.

Many features on this revolving rifle set it apart from modern rifles.

Ian from Forgotten Weapons shows us all about this 15mm Belgian pinfire revolving rifle.

This vintage 15mm Belgian pinfire revolving rifle is quite an odd weapon. Chambered in the 15mm pinfire cartridge, this is actually a .60 caliber projectile. That is one big bore black powder cartridge of the time for a revolving rifle as pinfire cartridges were usually of smaller calibers.

This revolving rifle also had a spring loaded bayonet. The action was a double action that required two finders on the trigger to operate. The large trigger guard was meant to be a place to put your support hand away from the cylinder gap powder blasts when fired.

This is one very odd revolving rifle that you are unlikely to ever see again in your gun show travels.
