This slow-motion video of a Sig Sauer firing is incredibly satisfying.
So much happens in the moment one fires a handgun. But it all happens in the blink of an eye. The newspaper The Oregonian, in the course of working on a story, shot some incredible footage of a .40 Sig Sauer firing at around 6900 frames per second.
The results are oddly beautiful and satisfying to watch. Check it out.
Now, that’s a cool handgun video. Pretty cool to see the bullet actually leaving the gun and everything else you can’t see when you fire a gun with the naked eye. It’s especially interesting to see the movement and apparent vibrations within the frame of the gun after the shot.
Something about this is just oddly relaxing isn’t it? Good stuff, thanks for sharing with the world Oregonian!
