This Shows What Late-Season Archery is All About in Montana

This hunter gets out for some mule deer and shows what late season archery is all about in Montana.

MontanaWildOutdoors gives us a snapshot of what late-season archery is all about in Montana when this hunter does a backcountry spot-and-stalk for muleys.

It takes a special kind of dedication to put yourself deep in the wilderness in cold temperatures. You have to be highly motivated, physically fit, and a good planner to take on the elements and close into archery range on a good mule deer.

If you are planning your first backwoods DIY deer hunt, my advice is to carefully plan and establish a good basecamp and hunt with at least one other team member. Once you gain experience you can start those long-range solo hunts.

For the full video that drops on the 12 of December be sure to check out their website and get the whole adventure.
