This is What Perfect Black Wildebeest Shot Placement Looks Like

Ever wonder what good black wildebeest shot placement looks like?

The hunter in this video demonstrates excellent black wildebeest shot placement, which, while always important, is absolutely vital on extremely tough animals like a wildebeest.

Watch the video to see what I mean. If you look closely, you see a puff of dust on the wildebeest’s shoulder from where the bullet hits it.

This is an example of textbook black wildebeest shot placement and, as you can see, the wildebeest did not run very far at all after the shot. A shot placed like that hits the heart and lungs, which results in a quick and ethical kill, minimizing the suffering for the animal.

Keep this in mind if you ever get an opportunity to go black wildebeest hunting.
