Absolutely Brutal Cheetah vs. Wildebeest Encounter Happens so Fast the Camera Can't Focus

Find out who's faster in this cheetah-wildebeest showdown.

Careful, if you blink you might miss the fastest land animal with four legs. According to National Geographic, cheetahs kill their prey 50 percent of the time. This cheetah versus wildebeest race won't disappoint.

However, find out which 50 percent this hunt falls into. Will the cheetah succeed in catching a meal, or will the juvenile wildebeest escape a travesty.

I get chills just watching this video. Imagine if a person somehow got caught in the position of the wildebeest. I certainly would not stand a chance against such a swift creature.

Cheetahs are so fast, yet so focused, due to the stability of their heads while running. As shown in the video, no matter how much the wildebeest zig-zagged, the cheetah only gained ground.

While this may seem cruel, this is everyday life for these animals. They must keep their heads on a swivel to survive.

Once this young wildebeest turned its head the cheetah attacked.

That was all she wrote.
