Beach fishing for sharks is something that few people have the guts to do. Big gear and big bait means big fish! These three guys in Sanibel have proved that they certainly have what it takes to go head-to-head with a massive 13ft hammerhead shark!

Photos of this fish have gone viral across fishing blogs and even made their way onto mainstream news outlets.

Check out the video News4Jax has put out covering some of the amazing photos and video!

Between the three of them, it took them 30 minutes to reel in the 13-foot shark. They say they caught the fish on a stingray that they had placed roughly 200 yards off the shore.

After reeling in the shark they cut the line while still in knee deep water to ensure it made a strong recovery.
