Here’s How Therapy Wolves Are Helping Vets with PTSD

A California wildlife rehab center is helping veterans with PTSD by allowing them to join a pack of therapy wolves.

The Lockwood Animal Rescue Center in Frazier Park, California seems to be on to something when it comes to helping military vets deal with PTSD.

They’re using wolves, who have experienced trauma themselves, as therapy partners, in what’s likely the first rehabilitation practice of its kind.

Healing comes in more ways than we can imagine, and the power of nature is no doubt comparable to other forms of rehab.
