The all new Asquith fly rod from G. Loomis is about to be shown to the world this coming ICAST down in Orlando this week. So far, very little details have been released, which has only lead up to increased speculation about what might be in store for the fly fishing world.
As seen in a snippet from a press release, the below is all info is all that has been released.
Developed and hand-finished in Woodland, Washington. Rolled in the world’s only Spiral X production facility in Kumamoto, Japan. G. Loomis design and performance combine with Shimano manufacturing expertise to introduce ASQUITH: The Most Technologically Advanced Fly Rods in The World.
Yeah, it’s a little cryptic. What the heck is spiral X graphite? How are these going to be the most technologically advanced fly rods in the world? How in the world do you even pronounce Asquith anyways? In just a few short days, all these questions are going to be answered, and then some.
