Texas Parks and Wildlife Hikes Four Largest Peaks in Texas in a Day [VIDEO]

The managing editor and photographer of Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine hiked the four tallest peaks in Texas in a day.

Managing Editor Russel Roe and photographer Laurence Parent and other members of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine hiked for 17 hours in one day over the weekend.

See how windy it was.

The group hiked four peaks in the Guadalupe Mountains; Guadalupe Peak, Bush Mountain, Shumard Peak and Baldy Peak. Each reach over 8,000 feet in elevation, Guadalupe Peak is the highest at 8,750.

That’s a lot of hiking for one day!

You can read more about this feat in next month’s TWPD Magazine issue.
