All of us enjoy the right to partake in our outdoor sports, but this group of Texas outdoorsmen take it to another level.

Texas outdoorsmen are pushing their right to hunt and fish to another level through Texans United for Hunting and Fishing Rights.

The committee encourages Texans to vote on Proposition 6, which adds the right to hunt and fish to the state’s constitution and would provide legal protection to those who partake in these sports.

According to the committee, many anti-hunters attempt to use laws and legislature to fight against hunters and fishers in the state. The committee aims to avoid elimination of certain hunting seasons as has been seen in other surrounding states due to anti-hunting efforts.

While some law-makers recently supported the legislation, others were left with questions as to why this type of constitutional protection would be necessary.

Regardless of the support or lack-there-of, Texans United for Hunting and Fishing Rights continues to press forward in their support and perseverance to have hunting and fishing as a part of their constitutional rights.
