15-year-old Danielle Bowles had quite the weekend.

Within 48 hours of cheering at her high school’s football game, Danielle Bowles, a 15-year-old sophomore, downed a 13-point buck in Oakland County, Michigan.

Bowles was hunting the Liberty Hunt, which is essentially a youth hunt ages 16 and under, in Michigan. After cheering for her school’s football team, she hit the woods and got a buck of a lifetime for any age hunter.

But Bowles is no novice huntress.

“I’ve been out hunting with my dad since I was 11,” she said.

cheerleader Michigan’s official firearm season starts Nov. 15.

Even though Bowles has a busy schedule cheering, playing softball, and, of course, attending high school, she isn’t finished for the season.

“I’ll be back out hunting again,” she said.

Will she beat her 13-pointer?
