Things get sticky if you actually use it.

Recently in Geauga County, Ohio a case of reported explosions coming from a house uncovered the man admitted to setting off four pounds of tannerite off at a time.

Tannernite is inert until its two parts are mixed, and then only can be detonated using a high caliber weapon.
