Take a Look at the Rare 1908 Japanese Hino Komura Pistol

The 1908 Japanese Hino Komura Pistol is unlike any other pistol you have seen.

Ian from Forgotten Weapons teaches us all about this really odd Hino Komura pistol in semi-automatic from way back in 1908.

The 1908 Japanese Hino Komura Pistol is nothing like any pistol you have ever handled. You cock this pistol by pulling the barrel forward. When you depress the grip safety and pull the trigger at the same time, the barrel with the live cartridge inside slams backwards against a fixed firing pin. This causes the gun to fire.

Odd, yes as this pistol is almost the direct opposite of a modern semi-automatic pistol. Also there is no trigger guard on the Hino Komura Pistol.
