You Haven’t Seen Anything Until You See a Surfer Nearly Get Swallowed By a Whale [VIDEO]

A surfer almost gets swallowed by a whale? Yeah, we’ve got that and you need to see it.

This nice lady was just taking a leisurely paddle on her surfboard when this happened.

Talk about a wakeup call! Be thankful you’re not an anchovy.

Humpback whales live and feed in the coastal waters off California. This species of whale will “lunge feed” on prey such as anchovies and plankton.

When two or more of these mammoths come out of the water with their mouths open, you quickly realize what monster-sized creatures they really are.

Humpbacks are by and large gentle giants, as most whale varieties are. If you’ve ever gotten a bug in your mouth, then you know what that whale would’ve thought had he caught himself a surfer.

I’m glad we didn’t have to find out.
