When the standard AR- 15 caliber was not enough, the .50 Beowulf was born.
This cartridge was developed by Bill Alexander of Alexander Arms and utilizes the AR-15 platform.
This .50 caliber rifle round has what it takes for any problem!
Alexander created the .50 Beowulf when the standard .223/5.56mm AR-15 cartridge was just too small.
When 300 to 400 grains of .50 caliber bullet hits a target, a lot of energy is transferred. This will stop a suicide bomber in a van, a bear after you in a thicket, or a giant, wild boar with gleaming tusks and blood in its eyes.
The hunting world loves this new .50 Beowulf cartridge. Out of a quick-shooting AR-15 rifle, the follow shots are even quicker and like a sledge hammer.
Not bad for a rifle cartridge born in 2001 that still has its baby teeth!
