A Louisville store clerk gave a would-be thief a surprise of his own!
Things got a little too real for a would-be robber in Louisville when a clerk countered the robber’s fake gun with a real one.
The would-be thief apparently didn’t expect the clerk, identified only as Hasan, to be armed when he grabbed the clerk’s arm and demanded money.
“All the sudden, I put the pack of cigarettes on the counter and he grabbed my arm and he pulls me toward him and he puts a gun under my neck and he goes, ‘give me all your money, give me all your money,’” Hasan told reporters from WHAS 11.
When Hasan grabbed his real gun from under the counter and held it to the robber’s neck, he realized things were getting a little too serious.
“I’m halfway squeezing the trigger and he drops his gun and goes like this, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry. It’s a fake gun. I don’t want nothing,’ and he runs away from the store,“ Hasan told the reporters.
Even though he fled, the suspect, a man named Kenneth Graves, was later captured. It’s probably safe to say he won’t try robbing a store again anytime soon.
