Stingray, It’s What’s for Dinner: How to Prepare and Cook It

Stingray is a delicacy that is tasty and good for you. After all, it is the other white meat.

Okay, so maybe it’s not THE other white meat, but it is another one. The meat is naturally lean and, when cooked right, succulent.

Christian, the Bacon King, gives great step-by-step instructions on cleaning and cooking a stingray.

The great thing about stingray is that it can be sautéed, grilled or fried. Much like shark, it fillets out with ease and delivers a rush to your taste buds.

The stingrays used in this video were caught with a casting net, but you can do the same preparation process with rays you catch with a line and hook as well.

If you live near saltwater and you don’t at least make an attempt to harvest this “pork of the sea”, then you’re missing out on a treat.
