Have You Heard About the Special Deer Hunting Program in Grand Rapids?

Looks like the folks in Grand Rapids just got themselves a new deer hunting program.

It seems that the residents in Grand Rapids are sick and tired of having to dodge deer on their roadways. The solution? Cull them before they have a chance to get on the road. The Department of Natural Resources and the city have teamed up to host a special deer hunting program “within the city limits”.

This will be the fourth year that the special program will be taking place. Hunters that have obtained the required special permits will be able to hunt with both bows and firearms during the season dates.

According to the official report, the local police department has reported fewer deer related car collisions within the city limits since the program has been underway.
