If you went on a shark fishing trip and only caught one kilo of coke, would you care?
Yes we know, we shouldn’t have done it. Cocaine is a terrible drug, and joking about it is also very bad. After spending several years in law enforcement in my younger years, I’ve seen it firsthand.
However, on a recent shark fishing trip captained by Mark Quartiano down in Miami, his guests caught something more than they expected. After seeing a floating object out in the waves, a good net job was all it took until they discovered the illegal narcotics.
Caution: very strong language in the video. Viewer discretion advised.
If you recognise the the boat captain’s name, that’s because he has become sort of infamous as “Mark the Shark.”
His claim to fame is killing thousands of sharks over his near 40-year career on the ocean. He is also the go-to boat captain for many of the Hollywood elite when they want to get away on the high seas for a shark fishing trip.
According to the reports, as soon as Captain Quartiano reached shore, they contacted the Coast Guard and turned the drugs over. The package weighed 12 pounds and was estimated to be worth approximately $30,000 in street value.
Now that is shark fishing trip none of those people will ever forget.
