SilencerCo has done a fantastic job thinking outside the box with its range of rifle suppressors, especially with its recent release of the world’s first shotgun silencer. Well, it’s done it again. The company knows all pistol silencers need a threaded barrel. It also realized it’s difficult to find them. So SilencerCo stepped up and is now introducing its new line of threaded pistol barrels.

This video demonstrates the newest SilencerCo. addition, threaded pistol barrels. This Glock 17 barrel is designed specifically for a 9 mm. It features a 1/2 by 28 thread with a 1:10 RH twist. The barrel measures in at five inches long and is made from 416R stainless with a black nitride finish.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $220.
SilencerCo currently offers this suppressor in both the Glock 17 and the Glock 21, but don’t worry, the company has more to come. It’s planning upcoming releases of its threaded pistol barrels for the Glock 17L, Glock 34, Glock 19, Sig P226, Springfield XD and the Smith and Wesson M&P.
