Siberian Hunters Go After Hibernating Bears [VIDEO]

We have seen some pretty controversial ways to hunt, but none have gone as far as this.

People have different views on hunting. Some do it for a trophy, some for meat for their families, and some just because they enjoy the sport of the hunt.

For the most part, we hunters stick together and help each other defend our rights to hunt, but the following clip just goes to show that not all hunting is good hunting and not every hunter deserves to be defended.

Please keep in mind that we at Wide Open Spaces did not have anything to do with the making of this video and do not condone this type of hunting in any way.

One thing we have to remember is that this video was shot in Siberia, where hunting laws may not be as strict as they are in the U.S.

Every hunt should be a fair chase and while we use our resources and technology to try to be successful when we go into the woods, it is still a hunter and a wild animal trying to outwit each other.

Attacking hibernating bears is going too far.

Poking a bear until it wakes up from hibernation and then sending a dog or a gunshot after it is not hunting. It is simply killing and something that hunters should make sure to clearly separate themselves from.

Please make sure that everyone who sees this knows that this does not represent most hunters, but only a select few who are only looking to kill.
