Joshua Carney, the ‘Son of the South,’ is motivating hunters to beat the odds.
On his first ever turkey hunt at the age of 13, Joshua Carney was wounded when his father accidentally shot him.
He has irreversible damage to his spinal cord and needs a wheelchair to get around.
When he found out he could mimic the sounds of more than 30 different animal calls, totaling 10 species, his ‘Son of the South’ nickname began to stick. Here’s Joshua with Si Robertson in a video uploaded by his YouTube account Deadeyejosh225.

Now 22, Joshua travels to hunting and outdoors shows displaying his talents. He still hunts to this day.
What’s the best mouth call you can do? Does it stack up against Joshua’s?
