I've seen guys get out on the ice using many different methods.
Snowmobiles, trucks, sleds, motorcycles...if it makes it easier to move across frozen water, someone is going to try it.
However, this contraption has to take the cake.

A Jon boat, bent metal piping, an engine, and a saw blade—somebody saw these items and thought, "I can use this to fly across the ice!"
It's a cool transport, and maybe you could start your ice fishing hole with it.
Of course, in a James Bond movie, it would cut the ice and sink the bad guy.
