How Did They Reload Cartridges in the 1930s? Not as Safely

This informative video on a pistol club shows how they used to reload cartridges.

This vintage video shows the stages of how reloading was done back in the day.

Watch this video and see how this pistol club reloaded cartridges back in 1936.

This Sheriff’s Pistol Club back in 1936 had quite a system set up to reload pistol ammunition. This vintage video goes into great detail to show how it was all done.

From picking up fired casings, reclaiming the spent lead bullets, sorting the casings, and reloading them – all is documented on this great footage.

Though the great hobby of reloading ammunition has not changed a great deal, some modern conveniences have cut down on the work. Notice the lack of protective gear when reclaiming the lead bullets in this old video.

Times have changed for the better for safety.
