This Red Snapper Was So Sick of This Kayak Fisherman, It Flipped Him

You don’t have to have a monster on the end of your line to get flipped over while kayak fishing.

The angler in the following video found that out while fishing for red snapper.

So, what happened? Tight drag and a bad angle. To catch red snapper in the vicinity of wrecks, the drag has to be tight so the fish won’t break off on a wreck.

The angler made the mistake of pointing his rod to the side of the kayak, instead of off the front. The result? A loss of balance. Fortunately for the angler in the video, his buddies were there to reel in the fish for him.

And, to give him some credit, it was a pretty good sized snapper!
