Did you see how they were still alive even though the deer had been dead for a while? It just goes to show how these creatures will find a way to survive and reproduce no matter what.

Botfly larvae can grow in their hosts’ flesh or guts, and in this case the larve found residence in this deer’s nasal cavity. When dressing your next deer, keep an eye out for botfly larvae, unless you want to be the next host.
