The Question of Knockdown Power is Answered on Hickok45’s Gun Range [VIDEO]

Knockdown power is often a contested topic of gun conversations.

So what do all these calibers and printed ballistic charts measuring stopping power mean in the real world?

Hickok45 is going to show us using steel plate target physics.

When the subject comes up about knockdown power, many have different views on what that means.

Does more stopping power mean that slow speed and heavy bullets trump high velocity and light-weight bullets? Stopping power is essentially a pistol’s ability to stop the target.

Hickok45 shows us the difference between small caliber impacts and large caliber impacts on a swinging steel plate target at 8-10 yards away.

Represented calibers are .22 long rifle, .38 special, 9mm, .357 magnum, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, 10mm and the .44 magnum.
