Pumpkin the Raccoon Thinks She’s a Dog But She’s Excused Because It’s Cute [PICS]

Pumpkin is an orphaned raccoon that soon made herself at home with the Kemps in the Bahamas. Now she’s just one of the pack since she acts just like the dogs.

Last year, a one-month-old raccoon baby fell out of a tree in Rosie Kemp’s yard in Nassau, Bahamas, where there are no raccoon rescues and raccoons can legally be kept as pets.

Kemp waited for the raccoon mother to come to Pumpkin’s safety but eventually decided to take her in.

It has been a year now and Pumpkin has solidly established herself as one of the pack (Kemp also has two dogs).

Pumpkin the Raccoon’s Instagram page is getting more popular. You can probably see why.

Like the dogs in the house, Pumpkin is allowed on the furniture.

She’s become the annoying little sister pup.

But they still love her.

Pumpkin kisses look sweet.

It’s a ruff life.

The pack.

Having a pet raccoon would be pretty great but I hear they get mean when they get older.

Hopefully the dogs of the household will keep Pumpkin in check.
